Is it truly possible for Mortal and Immortal equines to live together in peace? For eons, Mortals and Immortal alike lived completely separate lives. The vast majority of the Mortals were blissfully unaware of the existence of some force greater than themselves. But that all changed when the war of the Gods started. Some Gods were not content to merely sit back and watch as their creations destroyed themselves. Other Gods believed it was not their place to step in or meddle in the affairs of the Mortals. The battle raged in the Heavens for nearly a century. In the end, it was decided that the Immortal and Godly equines could mingle, even breed with, the Mortal equines. Though it was frowned on by some of the Gods still, yet some of them still tried to do so in secret. Thus came the demi-gods. Heroes among the equine species. Capable of great good or great evil. The demi-gods were to go on quests, and through their quest they could have themselves raised to God status.
Some equines still did not like the idea of mingling with the Mortals. And they plotted and waited, biding their time until they could regain strength and numbers to fight again, with hopes of winning in the coming second war. War Gods especially. Never content to sit idly by while there was wars to win, blood to spill. Some of these Gods who wished to wage war again wanted to see the Mortals completely wiped from existence. Utopia isn't everything it is cracked up to be, especially when you never know who you can trust.
Will you fight for the Mortals or will you fight to destroy them?
